    -Agreed Terms of Sale

    Minko’s Macs offer a 14 Days Non-Consumable Warranty unless otherwise agreed or stated within your invoice. This warranty does not include consumable items such as batteries, cd drives, hard drives, trackpads, keyboards and mice. This is due to wear and tear and personal usage. The warranty is void if the item(s) are further opened or repaired by any other computer company/technician or if any warranty seals have been tampered with. Items that have been subject to any neglect such as liquid damage or smoking around your mac/device voids any warranty, this is non-negotiable with any member of staff. We offer no software guarantee or support. We are not liable for technical advice given if software systems are not compatible with any personal additional hardware/software under any circumstances. Warranty does cover internal components such as Motherboards, USB/Headphone/Display/Ethernet/Thunderbolt/FireWire Ports, Speakers, LCDs, Graphic Cards, Cameras, Fans, PSU, Wi-Fi Cards/Aerials, Ram Memory & Slots which develop faults during your warranty period. We do not offer CASH or CARD refunds under any circumstances. We do offer exchanges or a credit note to the value of your purchase (within the standard non-consumable warranty period. The item must be in the same condition as when sold unless a fault has developed). Please note deposits are non-refundable. Customers will forfeit their deposit if the remaining balance has not been paid within this period. Any items left in-store for more than 45 days with outstanding balances will be seized to recover lost funds. Please note that any seized items are placed in storage off-site. We have a seized recovery scheme that enables items to be recovered for additional charges. Please note online and specific request orders can take 5 – 7 working days to be delivered or to be available in-store. We ask you to agree that you have read and understood these terms. Payment will seal this agreement. To ensure you are entirely happy with your purchase we are here to assist you to find the best-suited item (s), please feel free to call or visit any of our branches.

    IMPORTANT NOTES:

    The terms as stated above apply to any Extended Warranty purchased online or in-store.

    The computers, laptops and devices listed are base specifications. Please note that the specifications may vary due to availability. Any alternatives provided will always be above the listed specification (an upgrade), with documentation to reflect this.



    The warranty does cover internal components such as

    Motherboards, USB/Headphone/Display/Ethernet/Thunderbolt/FireWire Ports, Speakers, LCDs, Graphic Cards, Cameras, Fans, PSU, Wi-Fi Cards/Aerials, and Ram Memory Slots, which develop faults during your warranty period. We do not offer Cash or Card refunds under any circumstances.  We do offer exchanges or a credit note to the value of your purchase within 14 days of purchase if the item is returned in the same condition as it was sold or develops a fault covered under warranty.

    Please note online orders can take 5 – 7 working days to be delivered or collected from the store. To ensure you are entirely happy with your purchase, we are here to assist you to find the best-suited item (s), please feel free to call any of our stores if you require assistance.

    TERMS OF REPAIR

      Please note that all quotes are made an assessment diagnosis based on customer advice. Further technical investigation and diagnostics tests may lead to a change in prognosis, which can result in a change in service cost. In such cases, we will contact you to advise before any work is carried out. We are not responsible & hold no liability by any means for any lost files or customer data. Please ensure that you have a backup of all your files. You can request a backup of your Hard Drive in-store, at an additional cost.  Please ensure your contact details are correct and up to date.


      Note: Any items left in-store for more than 45 days will be seized to recover lost funds concerning diagnostics, labour and potential parts used. Please note that seized items are stored off-site until disposal or cost recovery. We have a seized recovery scheme that enables items to be recovered for additional charges potentially. Please note, however, once the 45-day time period has expired we are unable to accept any reason nor disclose or investigate the whereabouts of any items, under any circumstance. Minko’s Macs offer no guarantee at all on water-damaged repairs and have limited liability for any faults that may occur after service/repairs undertaken with items 5 years or older. Pre-owned parts or motherboard issues repairs, which have been agreed to be serviced/repaired rather than replaced with brand new parts, to reduce the price of a repair, also have no guarantees. Brand-new parts & complete logic board replacements will come with a 90-day guarantee. This 90-day repair guarantee is void on used parts and if the item is opened or repaired by any other computer company/ technician or warranty seals have been removed. No warranty cover also applies to items that have been subject to any neglect such as smoke damage caused by smoking near your mac or liquid damage. We also cannot take liability for any items that have previously sustained neglect or damage due to poor repair attempts outside Minko’s Macs. This will be explained before any work is undertaken, as well as the signature upon this quote, being confirmation that these terms have been read and understood. These types of repairs carry no guarantees. Please note repairs can take 5-7 working days and deposits left are non-refundable. 


      We offer a No Fix No Fee Service if we are unable to repair for any reason, once a service repair has been agreed upon. We will then return to the customer in the exact condition received. We charge a £50 diagnostic fee for all repairs and services, however, this is waived if a repair is undertaken in our store. If you decide not to go ahead with the repair after we diagnose your item, this £50 fee will apply.

      We advise that you contact our team to assist you with finding the right computer for your needs, as we
      do not accept order cancellations.
